ABOUT Protective Services Training Center
Protective Services Training Center is the training division of Priority Protection Group, a licensed security company in Utah. Our mission is to deliver high-quality, practical training that prepares individuals for real-world challenges while meeting all legal and certification requirements.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
To become a licensed security professional in Utah, you must meet the requirements set by the Utah Division of Professional Licensing (DOPL). This typically includes completing required training, meeting eligibility requirements, and submitting the proper application. Protective Services Training Center provides Utah-compliant training to help students prepare for security careers.
A Utah Concealed Carry (CCW) permit requires meeting state eligibility requirements and completing the required application process. CCW training helps students understand firearm safety, Utah laws, responsible carry practices, and defensive decision-making.
No. Our firearm training programs are designed for both beginners and experienced shooters. We provide step-by-step instruction focused on safety, proper handling, confidence, and practical skills.
Course lengths vary depending on the program. Private security, armed guard, CCW, and advanced firearms courses have different requirements. Contact PPG Security Academy for current schedules and course details.​
Certification classes range from 12 hours for state licensing to 14 days for professional licencing.
